We see them on our Facebook page…. but who really tries those things? We go to a gathering or a potluck where someone might actually make a dish instead of running to the grocery for a quick pre-made contribution. We ooh and ahh over some yummy dish and  may even ask for the recipe-which will probably never make it  to our own kitchen table. Well I finally decided to give one of those “share to your timeline” recipes a try tonight. Here it is:

Easy Cream of Potato Soup

1 package of ‘southern style’ frozen hash browns

1 can of cream of chicken soup

2 cans of chicken broth

1/2 chopped onion

salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients

Cook for 5-6 hours in your crock pot. Just before serving add 1 package of cream cheese and melt throughly in the soup. Add toppings such as cheese, bacon bits or chives if desired. That is!

mail (10) Note: it was actually good, not great, but good…….and easy. My husband enjoyed it very much!

mail (9) Dinner is served!

From Crock Pot Moms. Thanks!
