Happy 4th of July!

image

I am very grateful today. I’m grateful for the sacrifices that have been made by our military forces. I am grateful to live in a country that allows me to worship my God, to express my feelings freely, and offer me opportunities that I choose to pursue. I am grateful to live in the United States of America.
God Bless America!!

  1. I think that’s what I got today. My son has been out helping a friend of mine move. Then he came home and helped a neighbor move a piece of furniture he was going to try and do by himself. He is such a good hearted man. What a way to spend his 4th. It’s 95 here today. 99 tomorrow. 😦

  2. Thank you. Actually, no. It was a quite day for me but could not pass by this display of flags without taking a picture. I popped over to your blog- very nice. I will drop by again.

  3. Hi Jan,
I’ve had family visiting, so I am late in my comments! When I went back east to visit my family recently, and then shopped in NY, I went through LaGuardia. the first thing I saw when I deplaned was a sign saying Thank You to our Military, in one of the big overhead signs that hang in the concourse. It was just so great to see the acknowledgement for your soldiers. Its heartwarming. Wonderful post. Are you enjoying the summer? I am hoping to do some writing this weekend. xx Nancy
